I really like some of the images you use here,especially 'darting like chipmunks'. You wind the lines down to the end, which is a nice touch. I am not sure of the word 'behemoth'. It does not seem to fit with the rest of the piece. I admire your courage in putting this out here for all to read.

I don't know, I think behemoth does fit, the tone fits with the kid having just been in a fight, the word 'bowels' and the mother's apparent intimidation by the structure.

I like the subtle contrast between the children and adults, the cuild in i=his first fight and the mother unwilling to follow. The children who move easily followed by awkward adults, really out of their own world. The overdressed kids, dressed perhaps more to impress other adulte than to enjoy themselves in the play structure (which would seem to be the reason they are even there) For the whole thing, I could imagin an albost birs-eye veiw of a time laps with snatches of sound and color as people come and go. or, more specifically, the kids at the beginning and end, and findinf simple delight. Vry nice.
