If there's anyone inhabiting houses near the rivers, it would be best if you moved to higher ground ASAP. Those rivers can definitely flood, have done it before, and now would be a good time to get your stuff and find someplace more stable to live, before things get panicky. If you need any help, please let me know; my name's Guy.

I don't have anything to move anyway, so it's fine. This happened before?

... You must feel right at home in this kind of weather.

Yeah, back when Luke and I first got here. River flooded and some people even died.

Huh?

Hn. Do you need help getting anything ready in case it happens again?

Aquatic rescue is your specialty. I remember that.

Not really. I don't exactly have a lot of possessions here myself, so. Thanks anyways, though.

Well yes, that's true. Although I'd prefer oceans to flooded rivers; I like the sunshine.

It's nothing.

The location isn't really important when your skills are needed.

At ease, Asch. I'll save you if you start to drown.

I know how to swim!!

Oh, you learned how? That's good; I dunno if I'd be able to save both you and Luke if you decided to drown at the same time.

I was raised on an island, remember? I had to learn. Not surprised the replica didn't, though.

We were concentrating more on the "walking and talking" thing, actually. And it's not exactly easy to teach someone how to hold themselves up in a body of water when all you have is a (ridiculously large but rather shallow) bathtub.

.... I forgot he couldn't leave the manor.

You should teach him. I don't want that idiot drowning himself while you're not around just because he can't swim.

Y'know, I was going to, but things just...kept cropping up. Problematic things.

Now isn't exactly the best time, obviously, but as soon as the waters calm down I'll probably take him down to the lake and teach him how.

I didn't mean now. Trying in this weather would be murder. (As amusing as it would be to watch him flounder around in the water...)

He'll probably need all the help he can get, even with you around.

Are you offering?

....What?

That's nice of you; I knew you both were getting along better.

I readily accept your offer, Asch. As soon as these storms are done, you and I can teach Luke how to swim.
