Need some help from the tech-savvy at-risk youth

So somehow I got the job of coordinating the creation of my company's website.  For those of you who know my technological skills, this is highly amusing.  I'm not actually doing the programming, but I'm creating the content and the design, and am coordinating with our volunteer programmer.

So our programmer has suggested that we get our site hosted through AT&T.  Unfortunately she has not been very helpful in answering my questions about what kind of plan is best.

Through some conversations with friends, I decided that Shared Hosting with a Unix OS would be good (they convinced me that this was okay even if I didn't know how to use Unix myself).  But I have no idea if we need the "Basic for Unix OS" or "Enhanced for Unix OS" plan.

The additions for the Enhanced Plan are that it is Microsoft Front Page Capable, has Analog Raw Log Files, Telnet and SSH Shell Access, Dedicated SLL Server, and Shockwave Support.  For preinstalled scripts and applications, it also has Podcast Manager, Message Board, Page Hits Counter, Calendar, Site Search, CGI-Local Directory, Form-to-Email, Wordpress, Photo Gallery, and Digital Certificate.

It's a fairly basic website which really just needs to give information about our program.  But the Site Search and Photo Gallery features in the Enhanced Plan seem useful.  But onthe other hand, if we go with the more expensive plan, I'm going to need to explain to my boss why.    Also, I won't be doing the initial programming, but I (and eventually my successors) will be responsible for keeping everything updated, so it would be good to have some user friendly things.

So er, any suggestions?
