Rumors had been circulating regarding the boutique's closing, but on Monday, the rumors became true.
Selena's father, Abe Quintanilla, had kept the boutique open 14 years after his daughter's death as a sign of respect since it was hers. The economy, as well as Q Productions' priorities led to its closing.
Items from the boutique, however, will be available at the Selena museum
gift shop and others will be available on the Q Productions website.
