Hey guys! I just wanted to post here for a minute to go over a few things and to check in with all of you. Cherrystyle (v2?) Website has been going strong and has almost 1,000 members again. I think the old site had closer to 10,000 before all was said and done, but I'm excited nonetheless.
Anyway onto the reason I'm posting.
Getting Help with Layouts/Customization
A lot of you have been asking for help with styles and with customization. This is fantastic! However, I just want to remind people that the ONLY appropriate places to do so are either in the community styles_help or in the Forums on the site. If you post a comment under a style, in response to the News, or send one via the Contact Us form we may never see it. This means your question may never get answered and I know that's frustrating.
So please, please, please keep your questions to styles_help or to the Forums on the site.
Commenting!
Not only are people coming to the site, they're also finding new things to download! blacknailp0lish and I have been working hard and are now pleased to offer over 25 styles on the site. We're also planning on adding many more soon.
But! (there's always a but, isn't there?) We have been seeing a HUGE discrepancy between the number of styles downloaded and the number of comments given. If you're not commenting, we can't keep track of who's interested in what. If we can't track that, we can't come up with more styles you'll like. We also LOVE LOVE LOVE getting comments and they make us both smile like idiots.
So please, if you're downloading a style let us know. Underneath every style is a link to Comment (it's on the bottom right), and just drop us a line to let us know you took it. That would be AWESOME :D
New Forums!
We've also created new forums for you to post your ideas to. This beats the heck out of a long list here on the community and it allows you to get really detailed in what you'd like to see. This helps both US and YOU out.
