i don't know if i should continue with this journal. it's starting to seem more and more pointless, and at this point the main appeal is its ability to procure me compliments and distract me from the less glamorous aspects of the publishing field. but i don't like the person it makes me seem to be, and i don't feel so desperate for attention like i used to. so there's probably going to be a brief hiatus, if not an all out halt. ever feel like you're not actually involved in your life, and you're just watching from a distance?
