Splinter
-------------------------------------------
"Aish! Fucking...flooring...stupid...fuck!"
Hangeng turned around when the sudden profanity burst broke the silence in the dance studio.
Behind him he saw Kangin, holding his wrist, rapidly shaking it up and down while muttering slightly quieter now.
"What did you do?" The Chinese one asked, a bit worried over the other.
Recently Kangin had been cutting off on shouting and everyone was worried when the explosion-bound-to-happen would come.
He wasn't afraid of Kangin, absolutely not. Just that he was alone with the other and...
ok, so he was a little bit afraid but what could he do?
Ever since Siwon had become his knight in shining armor he had been getting softer and softer, used to the strong presence that seemed to be able to protect him from any harm.
"I fell down and got a splinter in my hand." Kangin answered and stood upright, face wincing in mild discomfort
"And into my shoulder too.."
"Shoulder?" Hangeng's eyes widened in surprise as he stepped closer to Kangin.
"Yeah.." Kangin sighed at Hangeng's facial expression that was a rather mix of confusion, surprise and amusement.
"I was trying to do a spin and then my hand slipped and I hit my shoulder on the ground.."
He continued, turning his gaze away, ashamed that he couldn't do the movement which seemed to be so easily done when Donghae or Eunhyuk did it.
"Ah, I see...." Hangeng nodded in understanding.
"Need help on that?"
Kangin muttered something in response, making Hangeng chuckle.
The younger man was trying to get the splinter off his palm, face twisting in anger every time the splinter escaped from his fingers.
"Sure...." Kangin sighed in defeat and held his hand out to Hangeng.
Usually he wouldn't give up, but he wanted the damn thing out before anyone else came in and he knew Hangeng wouldn't say anything about it, the other was always so mindful towards other people's feelings.
"Say if it hurts." Hangeng warned as he caught the splinter easily in between his fingers
"Like a small stick would argh!" Kangin yanked his hand back in surprise, sentence cut in the middle.
"It wouldn't what?"
"Don't push you luck." Kangin growled when he noticed the amused glint in the dancer's eyes.
"I'm not the one who has a splinters embedded into the palm and shoulder."
Hangeng said quietly, trying to hide his smile as he reached his hand out and took a hold of Kangin's hand, fishing the splinter into his hold again.
Kangin merely grunted and crossed his other hand to his chest.
"I'm pulling it out now." Hangeng warned when he noticed Kangin taking a deep breath, having probably come up with the proper remark.
The words were left unsaid as the out-breath was held back, all movement stopped from Kangin as Hangeng began pulling on the small piece of wood.
Kangin hissed as Hangeng slowly pulled the offending piece of wood, trying to keep the movements at minimum.
"GOD! JUST TAKE IT!" Kangin yelled and Hangeng looked up irritated, plucking the splinter out in one fast movement.
Kangin bit his bottom lip, trying to conceal the groan and profanities that were at the tip of his tongue.
"Thanks.." He flashed a small, shy smile at Hangeng when he calmed down a bit.
Hangeng only nodded and tossed the small piece somewhere to his side.
"How about the shoulder?"
"Uum..I think they can wait until practice is over.."
"Are you sure? If they go too deep you'll have to use a needle to pick them out."
The younger male snapped his head up at the mention of a needle.
He wasn't afraid of many things, but sadly, needles happened to be on that small list.
"I umm....Ok." Kangin gave in and dropped the examination on his 'injured' palm.
Hangeng was one of the few that knew of his aichmophobia and he knew(hoped) that the Chinese man was just thinking of his health, instead of being a abusive bastard taking advantage over the situation.
He turned his shoulder to Hangeng and the other pulled on the shirt's neckline, trying to see the splinters.
"You have to take the shirt off. They're too low for me to reach them like this.." Hangeng released his hold on the shirt and patted Kangin on the back, hand accidentally brushing over the pierced skin.
"Hey! Watch it." Kangin hissed as he took a step forward. Grabbing the hem of his shirt he began lifting it up, only to stop midway and drop his hands down, defeated he turned to Hangeng and stepped closer, face avoid of any signs of amusement.
"Help me, they're sticking to the shirt and lifting my arms too high hurts."
Hangeng tried to, he really did but the whole situation was too bizarre and he felt the laughter bubbling inside him tried to break free.
He pressed a hand against his mouth, trying to stifle the stubborn giggles.
Kangin didn't help at all, the first stoic expression went from surprised to amused, eyebrows twitching and lips crooked in a half-smile.
The older one couldn't take it anymore and he doubled over, clutching his stomach as he laughed out loud. Kangin couldn't help but laugh too, tears flooded out of their eyes as they laughed at the whole thing and to each other.
Hangeng was the first one to regain composure, standing up straight he wiped the tears from his eyes and leaned a hand on Kangin's still shaking shoulder.
Both of their faces were red and breaths ragged.
Kangin choked out one small laugh before taking in a deep breath, shaking his head at their idiocy.
"Ok, let's get your shirt off." Hangeng breathed out, smile still lingering on his lips as he reached for Kangins shirt before carefully lifting it up.
"Gege...what are you doing!?"
They both stopped dead on the spot, heads turning to the doors direction.
Their youngest member was standing by the door, hand still on the door knob, body frozen in mid-step.
Henry had opened the door to find the two standing close to each other, face's red and breathing huffed.
"Umm..we..."
"It'¨s just... not.."
"Were practicing a dance." Hangeng bid out quickly, hoping that the young one would leave or else Kangin wouldn't let him get the splinters away.
"So, you can wait in the hallway, it's going to be a surprise to everyone and you can't see it before hand."
"A surprise?" Henry's eyes lit up in excitement and he took a step further into the room, hands crossed in delight.
"Can I help?! Please Ge.. I want a fanservice dance too!"
"Fanservice?" Hangeng shook his head, sometimes Henry's thoughts were too far for him to reach.
"No, then it wouldn't be a surprise. Now go, shoo. We wanna wrap this up before the others come."
"But..."
"No butt's, go." Hangeng ordered sternly and nodded his head towards the door.
"You said butt." The younger one snickered at Hangengs failure english.
"Go." Hangeng pointed at the door, not amused at alll.
Henry huffed and stuck his tongue out at the two older men before stomping out of the room.
He felt like he was left out... and he started to doubt about the 'dance practice'.
Geng never denied him from watching/helping on dance routines.
So, when he was out of the room and the door closed, instead of leaving to wait the other members he stayed there, sticking his ear to the door.
------
Meanwhile the other two were recovering from the sudden interruption.
Hangeng lifted the shirt up.
Or he tried, Kangin was squirming and whining, complaining that Hangeng was too slow or that he wasn't careful enough.
"Hey! It can't be that hard!"
"If you'd stop moving maybe I could grab it." Hangeng hissed and cursed when the splinter slipped from his grasp again.
"Tsk, It's your fault for being so slow, I'm not very patient you know.."
"Yeah, I know.." Hangeng rolled his eyes and continued his work.
He smirked in victory when he got a good grip and pulled quickly, making the younger man yelp in surprise.
"Aah! That really...was...fuck." Kangin stomped his feet to the ground and tried to keep his voice low.
"How was it...?"
"Surprisingly long...and rather big.." He lifted Kangin's hand and placed the piece on his palm.
"Wow..well..that's amazing.."
"Yeah.." Hangeng nodded and returned his attention to Kangin's back.
"Another round...." He sang sweetly and brushed his fingers over the abused skin
-------------------
Siwon was walking down the corridors, humming to himself.
He had been on a good mood ever since the morning and not even EunHae's pranks had managed to ruin it, nor Heechul's princess-swings, absolutely nothing.
He smiled when he spotted someone outside the training room, happy that there was someone for company.
No one had been at the dorm when he had left, even Hangeng was missing and not answering his phone, but Siwon assumed that the older man still had schedules running.
The whole group's activities were so separated that week that they had been able to find only this one hour to practice.
Approaching the figure crouching down on the floor, he realized it was Henry, who, for some reason had his ear against the door. The thing Siwon found strangest, was the obvious red color tinting the youngsters cheeks.
"Henry?" He cleared his throat as he stopped beside the Canadian, whom yelped quietly and lost balance, falling on his behind.
"Gege... don't scare people.. you're starting to have weird habits." Henry grumbled and accepted the hand Siwon was offering him, pulling himself up straight.
"I wasn't scaring you on purpose, you were too concentrated on the door to notice me coming."
"Which reminds me, what were you doing?"
Henry snapped his head up, face reddening rapidly again.
"Uum...I..I was just.." He shifted his weight awkwardly from one foot to another, fingers fidgeting.
"Nothing."
"Henry.. what did you do this time? You really must quit hanging around Eunhyuk and Donghae, those two are not good company for you.."
"I didn't do anything!" Henry cut in.
"I was just...listening..Hangeng threw me out of the training room."
"Geng's in here? No wonder he wouldn't answer my call." Siwon said rounding Henry and reaching for the doorknob.
"I was going to ask him if he would want to have dinner..."
Henry slipped quickly in between Siwon and the door, blocking the older from entering.
"Henry? I would like to talk to Hangeng."
Henry looked past Siwon, nervously biting his lip
"I don't think you should go in.."
"Why? I'm pretty sure Hangeng won't mind. Besides, were having practice here so.."
"You just can't!" Henry yelped, face red again.
"Ok Henry." Siwon placed his hands on the younger ones shoulders, looking sternly at the other in the eyes.
"What's going on?"
"Well..Geng-Ge isn't alone..."
Siwon merely quirked his eyebrows, he was really worried that the younger was spending his time in the wrong company.
"Of course there would be someone else here too, so it's not like.."
"Umma and Granpda are having sex!" Henry blurted out quickly and covered his face in embarrassement.
Peeking from the gap between his fingers, he saw Siwon standing absolutely still, not even the smallest movement was made.
"Hangeng is what.. with who.."
"He and Kangin are in..I walked there and they were.. and then I listened and... the sounds.. something about being hard and..hard to grasp and amazing.. I don't know!" Henry exclaimed and hid his face again, feeling his cheeks burning again.
Siwon finally moved and was pushing Henry out of the way again, the younger one trying to pull him back by the arm though his attempts were rather futile against Siwon.
They both fell silent when a small cry was heard trough the door, both of them leaning forward to press their ears against the door.
-----------------
"See, that wasn't so bad was it."
"You're such a sadist, just wait till you're done." Kangin growled
"I'll pound you to the ground."
----------------------------------------------
All Henry could register was plated sized eyes and words that he was pretty sure Siwon was going to do more than three prayers per day as the door was slammed open, the tall man racing trough it.
Kangin jumped a bit, eyes wide in surprise when he saw Siwon standing near the door, fist clenching and un-clenching by his side's.
Siwon took in the sight before him.
Kangin standing there without a shirt on, back slightly arched towards Hangeng whom stood behind him, hands on the dark-haired man's shoulder's, face mere centimeter's apart from the bare skin.
"Siwon...." Hangeng whispered as he made eye-contact with the younger man, who was now shaking slightly, eye's visibly flaming with anger.
"This is not..You..." Hangeng couldn't find his words as he looked at the younger, who suddenly turned his gaze back to Kangin and dashed forward.
To Henry, who had now stepped into the room, the situation looked odd, two of his hyungs were standing rather close to each other and Siwon who was rapidly moving to the center of the room distantly reminded him of a galloping horse.
"You.." Siwon hissed and pushed Kangin by the chest, anger radiating off him.
"How dare you touch Hangeng."
"Siwon, listen it wasn't.." Hangeng tried to hold Siwon still, curling his arm around the younger's torso.
"I sure as hell heard what it was, and Henry apparently heard much more!" Siwon turned his face to give Hangeng a dirty look that said ill-deal-with-you-in-a-second.
Kangin cleared his throat, arms crossed over his chest.
He had no idea what Siwon was implying, nor why the other had pushed him,but he sure as hell wasn't gonna take such behavior from anyone.
Siwon turned back to look at Kangin and growled, Hangeng could feel the vibrations running trough the others body, he hadn't seen Siwon this upset in.. a while.
"Henry heard what?" Kangin turned to look at the young boy who was trying to hide himself,
a somewhat guilty look on his face.
"He heard you two having adult-fun here, and I heard it too." He yanked Hangeng's arms off of him and stepped closer to Kangin, voice rising with each step he took
"I can't believe it. Of all the people, you. How on earth could you do such thing, not only corrupting Gege, but also Henry, don't you have any consciousness?"
Slap.
The sound lingered in the room, making all four of them flinch and stop moving.
Even Hangeng who still had his hand raised in mid-air was shocked but recovered quickly,
placing his hands on his hips as he stood before Siwon.
"I'm not sure where to even begin!" Hangeng huffed annoyed as Siwon slowly turned to look at him, holding his hand on his cheek.
"I guess I should be hurt that you'd even consider me having sex with Kangin, but.." His voice cracked and he felt the smile creep on his face and from the corner of his eye he saw Kangin smirking too.
"I have no idea how the two of you came up with the idea. I was merely pulling a splinter off from Kangin's shoulder."
"A splinter!" Both Siwon and Henry exclaimed
"That's so.."
"I don't believe you!"
"Why did you throw me out of the room for that?"
"And what about the noises? How did it get there"
"Shut it, both of you!" Kangin shouted and pulled his shirt back on, stopping the rapid questions.
"You two are..insane! It was just a splinter! And Henry wasn't allowed in the room because I didn't want him here."
"Then...the noises?" Siwon enquired carefully, he didn't want this situation to get any messier.
"Yeah..all the, it's so hard and pounding and amazing and the groaning?" Henry yelped in, still not satisfied, he so was not imagining things.
"You try pulling a splinter out of that idiot's back, anyone would think it's hard." Hangeng answered, ignoring Kangin's protests.
"So..it was just a splinter?" Siwon said quietly, leaning closer to Hangeng who was now standing beside him.
"Just a splinter." Hangeng smiled and placed a hand on Siwon's arm, happy to feel the other relaxed.
"But Hangeng sure would make a good nurse, for the look side, not on the taking care.." Kangin muttered and rubbed his palm that was still a bit sore.
Hangeng saw Siwon's eyes flash dangerously at Kangin's words, but to his surprise he was being yanked by the arm towards the door, stumbling as Siwon pulled him along.
He could make out the faint muttering from the younger, something about perverts, praying, lecturing EunHae and Henry as well as complaining to Leeteuk.
Hangeng turned his head to shot a quick glance at Kangin before he was pulled out or the door and down the corridor, passing Henry who gave him a calculating look.
Sighing he looked at the floor, judging by Siwon's facial expression, he was in for a lecture, a long one at that.
Kangin shook his head as he wathed after the two re-treating men.
Thankful that none of the other members had been present.
He looked to the side of the door and saw Henry staring at him, intent and calculative,
arms crossed and eyes unmoving.
"Henry?"
"I don't believe you."
"What?"
"The voices, I know what I heard and saw and I don't believe it was just a splinter."
Kangin swallowed his answer when they heard footsteps approaching.
"You better keep your mouth shut." He hissed at Henry, who had stepped closer to the door and was now peeking into the hallway.
"I will, besides, incest is so out of date." Henry yelled over his shoulder as he escaped into the corridor upon seeing Kangin's furious face.
Leeteuk stared wide-eyed as Henry ran past him, laughing but a hint of fear present in there too as Kangin came running after the baby, face furious.
"I so wouldn't want to know what's going this time.." He sighed and turned around, going after the two.
