NYC
So the weekend that just passed.. Nicholas and I went to New York City. It was the most amazing weekend that I've ever spent with him. It was so romantic and fun.
okay, we drove to new haven and took the metro north train. lol we sat backwards on the way there so i got motion sickness.. OF COURSE. that's my luck. haha we got to Grand central station around like.. 930? maybe. then we took a cab lol.. that was fun.
our hotel was on 32nd street right between madison and park ave. very nice location. it was called the grand union.. it wasn't the greatest hotel but it was a place to sleep and keep our belongings. we unpacked all of our stuff.. and then we went and got wendy's.. lol yes, we went to nyc and got WENDY'S. then we went back and slept.
we got up at around.. 1230? then we went to a sushi bar called Todai. it was soooo good. then we went straight to Tiffany's! omg! it's sooo gorgeous. and i bought a bracelet for $200. it was worth it. it's a silver chainlink with a Tiffany's heart in the middle. I love it. :)
then we went to the disney store and i bought my mom a tinkerbell stuffed doll. it's so cute. that store is like a dreamland. it's so nice. then we went into Gucci. everything is SOOOO expensive in there. lol i was like.. this place makes me feel really poor and unimportant. then we were walking down the street and there was a bum that was trying to hide his face. and i felt bad and i was like .. well i guess i could be more poor and less important huh?
then we went back to the hotel and i got changed. then we went to times square. went into virgin records, and the hershey's store. it's BEAUTIFUL at night. then we took the subway to chinatown and little italy and we ate at Casabella. the bill was $130 lol but it was delicious. Then we went back home to the hotel.
Sunday.. we walked around trying to find the sirious building.. then when we finally found it, we weren't even allowed to go in it.. lol. Then we went to the WTC site. that was sad. then we headed back home.
It was a really good weekend. :) hopefully we'll do it again sometime..
this weekend coming up i'm gonna be working the sportsmans show.. so if anyone wants to come visit me.. please do. i'll be working the trout pond in the young building. :)
