update

adrienne called to my attention the fact that she doesn't know what's going on in muskegon and i need to update (and i'm sick of writing quotes, that i know.)

on sunday we chilled and then went to johnny carino's for dinner. and it was great. i had the bowtie festival (which i highly reccommend as well as whatever my mom had to eat) and i've eaten leftovers almost all week and they're still great.

so monday i recovered from sunday and just kind of chilled about the house. did all those little things i told myself i would do at the beginning of break but never actually did. it was a faux busy day actually.

then back to school. i almost cried. i realized that i had not missed it at all and i think i have devloped senoiritis. pray for me. so i somehow got through the week. i think it was worse because we weren't actually learning anything, just attempting to relearn the stuff hazy in our brains. which is not fun at all. so school was a major drag.

and then volleyball. changed. dramatically. as in 3 people quit. i won't say who.... but its a happier (if less talented... lol) place now. major changes, etc. and we had to find a new back-up setter and all that kind of junk. and so we had a game thursday and we did not play well. but the good thing was we had fun and the varsity coach worked w/ us a bit on friday and he is awesome so that was great. he's just one of those intense people who love coaching and all that stuff. he's kinda scary occasionally but idk i'm a fan.

and then the weekend came and i rejoiced. and more or less did nothing the entire weekend but that is fine because isn't that what weekends are for? on friday after volleyball, i adopted some of megan's old clothes that fit me and now i am the proud owner and 2 new jeans plus some other sweaters/shirts/cool sweatpants that can get by as nice pants, etc. and then rhea and i started our indiana jones movie marathon and watched a couple of movies (the 1st 2.... the one about the ark and the temple of doom. both awesome movies, may i add. plus i had watched those @ a young age and was a little uneasy about the details and i don't like that so its all good.)

sunday consisted of attempting to force my brain into exam-studying and quote-writing mode. it put up a good fight, i'll admit, but admitted that yes, studying was good, if not enjoyable. we had dinner, watched a little football, and i need to tell you an amusing story about charlie (the house bird) he likes tea. a lot. i offered him a bit of mine, hoping he would finally be nice to me. he took a gulp and proceeded to sneeze it back into my mug. sigh. stupid bird. and also because of him i had to dig through the garbage w/ tongs to try to find a chicken bone i had thrown away accidentally. personally, i think the fact that he eats chicken bones is a bit cannabalistic but hey whatever. he has no idea.

and now i'm here. i think i need to study a bit more for my lit. exam. wish me luck! (lit. and math tomorrow. of course.)
