I posted once, with my story and it helped a lot.
Now hopefully I can provide hope for someone else.
In September Sierra was a 24weeker weighing 1 lb. 5.5 oz with a low chance of survival.
We had a 3 month stay at the hospital but she finally came home before Christmas time. (Her due-date was 12-27)
She's now a little over 4 months and weighs almost 8 lbs.
She didn't have it easy, but she's doing good. She seems to have no complications (knock on wood). She still has a PDA but it's not effecting her. She visits the pediatrician, eye specialist, cardiologist, and endocronologist frequently, just to be sure.
I didn't believe in miracles until her.
She's new to this world and has already had to fight harder than anyone else I've ever known.
But she did it. And I'm so thankful it's unbelievable.
Behind the cut are before and after pictures.
