Cakery, killing computers and headaches, oh MY!
Today was a fairly good day, I'd say. I went to my co-op, A cake shop, and I worked the front and cleaned the piping tips. Overall pretty boring. But they told me I could skip the rest of the day and join them anytime, haha.
But crap, once I got home, I was helping my Dad with his computer, installing drivers and whatnot, but once I accidentally pressed the restart button while the computer was shutting down, and now the monitor won't get a signal from the computer. I've taken out the graphics card, I've tried using the CMOS Jumper (without taking out the battery), and unplugging the data transfer from the harddrives to see if it would boot up, but no avail. I even tried the ridiculous internet fad ones, haha. But if I can convince my dad, I'll try taking out the CMOS battery on the mobo, doing the jumpers, putting the batteries back in, and hopefully that'll solve the problem. If not, well then I'm screwed and killed over a $1000 piece of machinery. I just hope I didn't fry the graphics or the mobo. Urgh.
But on other news, I've been getting so into things I used to be into in my childhood, like neopets (ahahaha) and the Nickelodeon channel. It's amusing, especially when I'm sick and have a headache like today. My friend says she's interested in my lolita dress, so I'm bringing it when she comes around on Friday, if not then I'll probably try LJ, any takers?
