(no subject)
I've decided to get a tattoo. I am going to do it as a 21st birthday present, 'to me, from me.' I am very thrilled about this decision. :) I always said I never wanted a tattoo, yet I've always been really fascinated by them...I love looking at tattoos and discovering the meanings behind them. And you can bet your ass that my tattoo is going to be meaningful.
Before you all start freaking out, I'll have you know it's going to be in a very inconspicuous place. It's going to be on the arch of my foot...as in, on the bottom of my foot without actually being on the sole, for those of you who don't know what the arch of the foot is. This is sure to be a very painful procedure, but I can handle it, and I think that this is the perfect spot to get my tattoo. I know that the ones on bottoms of feet rub off easily, but since I have high arches, I don't think it will be that bad. Plus, I'm not really concerned about that. If the tattoo ages and I feel like I need to maintain it and get it touched up, then I will. If it ages and I just want to leave it as-is, then I will do that as well. The beauty of having it on my arch is that no one will see it unless I want them to...and it can be my little secret unless I want to share it with people. I love having secrets... ;)
