(no subject)
i realized i haven't written a real entry in over a month. not a whole lot is that new. i'm moving out of my neighbourhood and to the danforth in may (somewhere between broadview and pape). i have the chance to move in with a friend and save some money on rent. not to mention the fact that living alone is sort of lonely. plus i don't hate this area... hate is a strong word but i have no love for st. clair av. it's boring up here...especially near bathurst and a 20 min walk from the st. clair west station. i want to live within 10 mins of the danforth for several reasons. mostly it's nice because i keep weird hours and living near a blue light that runs every 15 mins is key. riverdale park is pretty sweet and the don valley has a nice rollerblading/biking path. let's not forget the food and atmosphere
japan plans are being worked out...right now we're planning on taking a shinkansen from kashiwa to numazu. we'll pass through ueno, tokyo, atami and mishima on the train. shinkansen is a bullet train. from there we're planning on renting a car and driving the izu peninsula.

so clearly this is exciting. some other plans for japan are: going to a baseball game, viewing the cherry blossoms, karaoke, meeting some of my friend's japanese friends (who i'm told will be so happy to talk to me since they can practice their english for free) and ton of other things.
what else is new?
- i went skiing in collingwood last weekend.
- went to oakville on friday night to watch a film i cut this summer - it's finally done.
- went out to eat at the green papaya at yonge/eg last night.
- got a new winter jacket.
- buying the most expensive possibly inline skates after i get back from japan.
- buying new shoes before i leave for japan...probably my first pair of sketchers.
- went looking some tuxes with adam today for the grooms men...not anything serious... still weird to be doing that. i've never been in a wedding party.
- my contract is up at work in 2 weeks... i'm almost positive i'll be given a new one since it would be pretty shitty if they didn't tell me by now.
- work is fine these days...
that's about it. 25 days til i leave for tokyo...if you count today as being pretty much over.
