END OF EXAMS!!!
whoopee!!! i'm done with dreaded dratted darn exams...
best feeling in the world...though there's no one to 'play' with me cos' the last paper (Prices & Markets) for the rest of them is on 2nd May Saturday; Pamela's Management Accounting is on 4th May and Xuelin's Macroecons is on 8th May...
brief rundown on my life for the past 1 week during the exam period...
24th April: MR Paper - slept @ 3am, woke up @ 6am to study some more; reached school @ 1pm to calm the nerves; the common complaint was that WE OVERSTUDIED!!! like how is that possible but yeah that WAS the case...stayed up till 3am again not to study but watch more Big Bang videos...-urgh-
25th April: Saturday - slept till 12pm (when i was supposed to meet Kaixin at Kemabangan MRT to take bus to the airport to study); ended up at Mac's which was probably the worst place to study when its over-run with KIDS!!! didn't get much done - merely covered topic 7 of HMT which is BAD BAD BAD when the exam was just about 24 hours away...meow and lisa dropped by to say hi then went off on their 'date' together...stayed till 0030hrs where we managed to catch the last bus in time!!!
26th April: started studying at 1pm only cos' of household work; not fair to leave my mom in the lurch...mugged HMT till about 6pm for dinner...then stayed in front of the google box till 10pm cos' of the Star Awards and Ethan Ruan!!! -MAJOR URGH!!!- so doomed cos' i'm not close to feeling prepared for the HMT paper which is tomorrow...
27th April: slept at 3am again to study and woke up at 6am to study SOME MORE...reached school just in time for the paper...apparently i got the timings WRONG!!! thank goodness they've only began to read the questions before the actual starting time; the paper was do-able...not too bad i should say...went home took a 1hr power nap and began my preparation for ComLaw...somehow there still isn't enough time!!! -panic attack-
28th April: slept at 3am and woke up at 6am...sort out the notes some more then headed to school for the paper the whole time flipping the pages of my notes...worst feeling ever once i was out of the exam hall...it was like last semester's ComLaw paper all over again except MUCH WORSE...2 answers to the questions had zero structure...essentially i was all over the place flipping my notes frantically during the dark 3hr paper...nevermind the negative vibes i got from the paper...rushed home to study for ER...alas my brain had reached saturation point...no amount of coaxing could i manage to memorise the facts at all...was nearly driven to tears...thank goodness for O~ne's support (she's was preparing for her 1st paper which was the next day too...) had no choice but to spot topics that i pray will come out...
29th April: slept at 4am woke up at 6am...i'd say it was an ok paper...but the eventual results may prove otherwise...but to hell with it for the moment...cos' i've earned my FREEDOM!!!
if you noticed a pattern, i haven't actually had proper sleep for 4 days straight...there were a few times i slept on the bus my mind a daze...felt like i was floating during a good part of the journey...thank goodness for Taeyang's live performance of 'Only Look At Me'; had that on repeat mode and blasted it such that i had goosebumps...my thanks to Kaixin for helping me rip it off a YouTube video...

another weird habit developed was my insatiable thirst...i swear i drank more litres of water during the study break than i ever did in a year...and my lack of appetite for food...but my weight did not go down considerably...just that i managed not to succumb to all the junk food given the fact that i'm being studying at Mac's mostly...

since the bulk of them will be preparing for their PM paper (save for Kerk who has already declared himself on holiday which is SO TYPICAL of him), no one can accompany me to Gracelyn's 21st Birthday party...didn't want to feel like a dork alone so i passed up the chance to attend...
now to find a job which i think is quite hopeless given the current job climate...-depressing-
