I'm at Steph's place now. We're playing with The Wii, and trying to create Miis of the members of Monty Python, since we are Python-freaks. Currently, we're working on Eric Idle. We also made ones of Aya Matsuura and Miki Fujimoto, and once we get some pictures, I'll post them up.

The new Bleach episode was pretty good. Go Ikakku! A very Yumikakku episode, I say :) Though I don't understand why the scene with Ichigo, Rukia, and Grimmjow was in there. Can't they wait until Ikakku's fight is over?

On sadoichi, someone brought up the idea of an uke Chad. Henceforth, I must write Chad as a bottom! XD

I look at neither Chad nor Ichigo in an uke/seme light, however. Uke implies naivety, femininity, a lack of a backbone, and cuteness. Seme implies power, dominance, coldness, and hurtful. Semes have a hold over ukes, and the relationship is far from equal. Chad and Ichigo have an equal relationship, neither ordering the other around or forcing their ways on the other.

In real gay male relationships, there is no seme/uke thing. Yes, someone may prefer being bottom, and someone may prefer being top. However, those are physical things, that don't have to do with which one is more feminine and which one is more masculine. For all you know, that twink you saw could be topping over bears every night, or something. mmm...twinks...

Also, I'd like to highlight a point made by dawnshadow:

"Who came up with the "height rule," anyway?"

Too true. Height has nothing to do with personality! I've met serious short people, and shy tall people. I mean, could you see Sakaki dominating Tomo? Okay, that's yuri, but you get my point! Tomo, although being shorter, is very dominating and loud, while Sakaki is shy and kind, even though she's the tallest girl in her class.

Bottom and top refer to physical postions only. Seme and uke refer to certain personality types within the yaoi/BL/slash genre. Don't confuse them!
