" I was happy just being with you/ Goodbye...."

To try and get over Manny my bad feelings, I'm gonna talk about something else.

1. I'm trying to read "Twilight", but it's so hard. I wanted to like it, because I found the premise intriguing, but Bella is an over-the-top weakling moron who makes women look bad, and Edward is a controlling stalker who only gets away with it because he's so "attractive" that he makes Bella speechless in his presence, as well are told every five lines, and because he's a "tragic hero." Who sparkles. I do have some positive points- I liked what I read of Jacob (because he's a pretty, sweet Native American boy whose name is similar to fellow pretty, sweet Native American boy Jacoby Ellsbury? Maybe ;) ) , and Stephanie Meyer is actually a pretty decent writer, with the exception about how she feels a need to remind us every couple lines of Edward's attractiveness. I do want to finish it though- maybe it gets better, and Jacob does intrigue me. But it is hard.

2. "Project Runway" super-sucks this season. Like, I thought last season got boring at the end, but this season? SNOOOOOOOOOOZE. WTF, PR? You're supposed to be on my top five favorite shows? Are you just crapping out because you're too busy preparing the move to Lifetime? There are some interesting moments in this season OMFG AUSTIN GUEST-JUDGED!!!^^, but the fashion is pretty boring, as are the contestants. So watching the third episode today (I DVRed it because I was watching the Mets, and I was either super busy or super depressed yesterday, so I watched it today), and I came up with nicknames for everyone who was in that episode, since their too lame for me to actually put effort into remembering their names.

Bettie Page, because she kinda looks like her. Only in a not porn way. Plus, I think she said she based her style on the fifties, when Bettie Page was popular.

IDK, because I didn't notice she was even there until episode three. I guess she's that boring xD

Kelly, because he's pretty betchy. xD He just reminds me of Kelly from "Shoes" a lot.

Mormon, because he said he's from Salt Lake City and grew up Mormon. Haha, a Mormon fashion designer- I never would've thought!

Cyborg, because she most of the time she has this robot persona. Like, she talks and stares like a stereotypical robot. It she's not doing that, she's either giving the Carlos Beltran Death Glare or a Creepy Smile of Doom.

Suede. Which is what he actually goes by. He's just always talking in the third person, so I can't get away with not knowing his name. Plus, it sounds like a nickname.

Girlicious, which is what he called his design in the first episode. It just kinda stuck with me. I think he was going for the new "fierce", but it felt too forced and he quickly dropped it. But I picked it up to use as a nickname!

Katy Perry, just because she looks like her. I bet she's a lesbian xD

Beardface, due to his thick beard, and that being the only memorable thing about him. xD

Pollock, as she did this dress where she splattered whatever-she-used-to-make-the-skirt and coffee filters with coffee and bleach and stuff, which was kinda Jackson Pollock-ish, in a way.

Corbin Blue, as she has the same hairstyle. Again, her only memorable characteristic is her hair, henceforth relying on it for a nickname.

Aunt Joanne, as she acts like a rock version of my Aunt Joanne, as pointed out by my mother. Her not being able to work the camera last episode just kinda pushed it a little more. If she starts getting on a leather tangent, I call her Berman, as in Chris Berman of "You're with me, Leather" fame.

Kanye, as she said she was inspired by hip-hop music, and he was the first hip-hop person I thought of.

Cups, as he did the plastic cup dress that was one of the few outfits I could remember this season.

Also, I'm super convinced the next episode takes place (partially) IN YANKEE STADIUM. In the preview, a contestant is saying how huge the place they went on a field trip is. Then they show some contestants in a building, standing near a bathroom that looks like one you'd find in a stadium, and the walls are navy blue. And the episode title? "Rings of Glory". As in twenty-six rings of glory. I've never been in Yankee Stadium, but from those clues I can make a guess. So for an fans of the Evil Empire of my f-list, can you confirm this for me. Because even as a Sox fan, the idea of baseball+PR=<3. So for those silly Yankee fans on my f-list who don't watch PR, you should watch it next week! Ironically, I believe I'll be watching this episode from Boston. ;)

3. americanleaguer posted up an article in ESPN magazine about Pedroia here. If I wasn't already convinced of it enough, I am so sure that DUSTIN PEDROIA=EDWARD ELRIC aka my favorite fictional character ever. Their both cocky, short, tend to act bigger than they are, like to pick fights, and are extremely good at what they do through a lot of hard work and practice. And this moment just made me lol:

From that point on, the better a pitcher threw the ball, the more Pedroia said he sucked. Once, after ripping a leadoff single off Wichita State's Mike Pelfrey (now with the Mets), Pedroia shouted at the pitcher as he rounded first, "Ninety-eight coming in, 102 going out!"

Isn't Pelf a foot and an inch taller than Pedroia? He could've beat him up very easily if he wasn't so nice xD Yelling insults at your opponents? Yep, super Edward-ish! Now I want to draw them cosplaying each other!

4. I was flipping through my sketchbook when I noticed that I had drawn something very odd, probably during SportsCenter. I decided to scan it in, clean it up, and color it....

I actually am extremely fascinated by Ozzie Guillen. Such an angry man...xD But he's a pretty good manager, if unorthodox in his method of cursing at his players in the media. ;P I think I might have to draw Lou Pinella too so I get both sides of Chicago!

5. I've been kinda mentally creating a fanmix dedicated to Mannygate- as in, a song will come on and it will make me think of Manny. So far, the list would be "Hana" by Ayumi Hamasaki and "Still In Love With You" by Jonas Brothers. Clearly, this mix should never be released. :P

6. On happier Sox news, I love Jason Bay already. Scoring the winning run? YES. I wish I had gotten to actually see it, but hearing about that made me feel so much better. And seeing them celebrate! YES ^^ I'm thinking this Manny thing is not too different than the situation earlier this year with Willie Randolph and the Mets. It's not that Jerry Manuel is a better manager than Willie (though I adore him more than I ever did Willie), he's just not a distraction. Bay isn't better than Manny offensively (Defensively? Yes), he's just not a distraction. My Mets started playing a lot better after Willie left due to being able to focus better, so let's hope it happens for my Sox too!

...Wait, didn't I say I wouldn't talk about this?

Anyways, off to Maggie's! Adios!

twilight, los angeles dodgers, boston red sox, ozzie guillen, jason bay, pr5 sucks eggs, i hate ed cullen, sports, dustin pedroia, mike pelfrey, fullmetal alchemist, manny ramirez, pedroia=ed elric, chicago white sox, baseball, dustin is real short, la dodgers have manny, manny being manny, new york mets, mannygate, edward elric, fanmixes, project runway
