I just posted a comment on Nick's lj. Fun. I probably freaked him out. (Oh, if this is Nick reading this, please let me know if I freaked you out or not. I would hate to think I wasted my time only to NOT scare you.) Anyway, I hope Nick doesn't take it too hard because I am applying to Marble Slab for some employment (sorry kids, Cervantes just isn't making enough) and I would hate to have a hostile work environment.
Why oh why must I spend my entire summer slaving over that which does not amuse me? I feel like I am eternally doing something for someone else. When is it "me" time, I ask you? What about MADELEINE'S needs? Argh. I need a vacation. No, this short three-month period does not qualify, because I am working more than I am relaxing. To quote the Princess Bride, "It's nothing but work, work, work all the time."
Yargh. I am hungry, but there is nothing palatable for me to consume. What a world, what a world.
