Yes, I am indeed alive!
There's a lot to say... my life is in full-swing.
I started a magazine. An art magazine... it's gone further than I thought it would. We're getting funds and support that turn into thousands of dollars... it's so strange, because I've been trying to do this since highschool. And finally, someone gave me a chance, people believed in what it could be. Somehow, being my baby, everyone assumed I would be the Editor-in-Chief.
At first I was leery of taking such responsibility, but after seeing the direction some people wanted to take the magazine... I quickly established myself. It's been draining, time-consuming, and my social life has gone down in flames. But I feel complete, necessary. Sadly enough I've never felt needed as much as I do now.
Things with the art magazine (Hi-Res) are going well, except our lack of time and deadline right around the corner. ( ....AS IN FRIDAY.)
So I came home to do some editing, and decided to make a post.
I painted my friend Dessa's face and our photographer, Sam Eubank, took some photos in the studio.
We're needing a cover, stat. So here's a sneak peek!
