Yesterday was the first day of our two day tournament, with two preliminary rounds and a semifinal round. I don't know how we did in terms of rankings, but the way they ran it was that the top 3 people got a "rise" and the rest (4th and below) got a "fall," and once you have two "falls" on your record, you're out. Our entire team (me, rebekah, katie rose, and kelly) broke into the semi-finals, which meant we all had no more than one "fall;" at the end of the night, they posted which 8 of the original 15 would be moving on to the finals on Satruday...... I'm going, with Kelly and Katie Rose!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We all have either two or three "rises," which is AWESOME! So keep listening on Saturday, and you'll know if I'm going to Texas for Nationals!!

Also, back in February, we competed in the National Quals for the National Catholic League... it was that tournament you came and watched at jesuit, the one against scary Logan where Katie Rose got 7th and I got 6th and the top 3 qualified to go to Chicago for THAT set of Nationals. Nothing is finalized yet, but the Jesuit coach talked to Mom yesterday, and it looks like enough people have dropped out that I might have moved up into 3rd place, which would mean I would get to go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Happy days!

So, in summary, I'm really close to getting to go to Texas and Chicago. Wahooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!
