Numero Uno
So, here it is, my very first journal entry. Whatever shall i write?! How about a little update on my life. Its been a pretty good summer... full, but for the most part in a good way. There have been lots of adventures with friends and family, and a lot of working. I work at a bank here in town, so I'm a little tied down to that until I go back to school. Its a pretty fast-paced environment, so when I get home I crash, which is hard because I had so many worthy goals this summer that I haven't really been able to work on. But, saving money for school is important.
Going a little deeper than the surface, the summer has been difficult just because I've been in limbo as far as what I'm actually going to do with my life. Oh, the ever pressing question. I used to be so sure! Then the Lord just decides to shift things around a bit and I'm right back where I started. I haven't a clue. But through this period of cluelessness, I've had to come to the place that I just have to trust the sovereignty of God in my life, that He knows the next step, and all the steps to follow. So where do I fit and what am I going to do? I have no clue right now. But so often we can get so focused on where 'we' fit into God's plan, we forget God's plan and lose sight of the Master of it all. The most important thing is to stick close with the Master and let Him direct us in His timing.
