ICE SUCKS!
So Chris and I were just sitting here, sentimentally watching "Meet Me In St. Louis" (which is a beyond fabulous movie!), when he heard a scrathcing sort of noise.Of course, thanks to our recent rat incident, he was convinced it was in the wall- yuck! But then, our movie ended and via the silence of the room without the TV on, we were able to hear that, actually, the scratching was the product of ice pellets hitting our window as they fell!!!!
I can't wait to be iced in here....I hope we don't lose power!!!!

Also, today, my mom was driving down the road, and, long story short, a huge buck ran into the side of her vehicle, directly into the driver's side door! It broke her window and took off her mirror, but somehow, some way, the deer did not come into the window opening and mom only suffered a bruise on her cheek. I am SO SO SO THANKFUL about this...I don't even want to consider what that deer might've done had it gotten its head stuck in the driver's side window. It ran off so quickly that she was unable to see where it went, so it was very much alive after the collision! Anyway, if you would, say a prayer or just be thankful tonight and always for all of the important people in your life and all of the lucky misses you've experienced...I know I am!!! Thanks:)
