So I am going to really try and become a productive member of society and actually read LJ once in awhile.
Just returned from a 4 day camping trip with the family. Wouldn't have been so bad except the location my family chose was at 9200 feet above sea level in elevation. That's almost double the location of Denver for those of you keeping score at home. It kept the temperatures pleasant but doing anything exerting just killed me. Can't imagine what it would have been like if I still smoked. Anyway here's a few snap shots of the lake.

I never knew a 18 month old could get sooooooooooooo dirty. But she's still so damn cute!

Work is going not well. I'm going to be updating my resume this week and looking for a new job. I'd rather not start looking right now but the boss has really left me little choice. A certain ass kisser in my department needs to have something "dirty" on everyone and all she could find on me was that when I was taking a 1 hour lunch and no breaks that I wasn't punching out for the full hour. BECAUSE I DON'T TAKE BREAKS ASS HOLES. But that makes me a thief. Never mind that I am constantly covering the other girls asses, fixing their mistakes, keeping us from getting sued for all the crap we forget to do, coming in to do my job even when I'm sick (because no one can or will do my job). Oh and did I mention I don't sit at work for 5 out of the 8 hours I'm there and talk to my friends and boyfriend on the phone? Oh and I get my work done on time too, God I'm just a criminal aren't I?
And then someone actually nominated my boss for a "excellence in management" award. Yeah excellent in the way he ignores everything wrong in his apartment (anyone remember the drunk I worked with a few years ago?)
So yeah, job hunting is about to commence. I'm not happy.
So that's why I've been offline a lot lately, lots of planning, packing, and stressing. Oh and mix that with the 95+ degree temps that make me sleep like crap and yeah... I rock.
Anyway enough with the depressing whining. I vow to be more positive and be around more.
