Weekly Update :3
what up, world? Just making some pumpkin cheesecake. Unfortunately it is leaking (?) in the oven, so I'm currently on standby while we air out my kitchen...no fires or anything, just smoked butter or something. Good news is, we solved the problem by putting a cookie sheet under it to catch whatever it's leaking. Long live teh cheesecake!
Home again. This is the first time I've been home in over a month, so it's kind of awesome. Comfy couches, showers without shoes, kitchen, etc. And I have verified that brother is alive, and did not die of Skyrim-related starvation. I fed him cookies just to be sure.
Anyone else mega-pumped for thanksgiving? Nothing like hanging out with my cousins and a bowl of grandma's mashed potatoes! I'll probably go black friday shopping, but I'm not going to buy much (if anything) because I would really like to have food/merch from the Paul Simon concert I'm going to on Saturday. Yes, like Simon and Garfunkel!!!! :D My grandparents are jealous. Word.
My blind/deaf dog is just as cute and derp as I remembered... he tends to like to sleep in very inconvenient places, like behind doorways, under the dishwasher, blocking chairs, etc. Not entirely convinced he recognizes me *shrug*, but he seems happy to me.
In other news, I'm about 1/2 done my R/S small gifts fic :3 Can't wait to finish it up. I've written most of it and will begin the editing process. If you happen to be reading this and would like to mod, I'd appreciate it.
