He woke to a familiar, adult voice saying, “Jesus, Eames, you couldn’t have made me shower first?”

Eames blinked his eyes open to find a full-grown Arthur leaning over him, nose wrinkled primly as he glanced down at the dried mess on his stomach.

“You were, ah. Rather worn out.”

“Regardless, this is disgusting.” Then, to Eames’ amazement, Arthur gave him a tentative smile and added, “But...thanks. For, you know. Fixing me.”

Eames raised himself up onto his elbow, and carefully reached up to cup the back of his hand over the back of Arthur’s neck, just to see if he could. Arthur didn’t even flinch.

“You’re welcome. And welcome back,” he whispered, pulling Arthur down for a kiss.

It wasn’t going to be Arthur’s first, but at least it was theirs.

The next day, Eames walked into the warehouse with Arthur not far behind him.

Yusuf’s mouth fell open. “You--but how did--?”

Eames frowned. “You said he needed to...” He waved his hand for effect, seeing as how Cobb and Ariadne were there as well, staring at the newly-returned grown-up Arthur.

“I can’t believe it worked,” Yusuf breathed in awe, shaking his head.

“You said it was the only way!”

“Eames, I wasn’t serious! You honestly believed being Arthur’s first shag would turn him back?”

“Arthur’s first what?” Cobb choked, just as Arthur said, “Wait, say that again,” in a deadly calm voice.

Ariadne just said, “Oh god, Eames has a daddy kink. Thanks a lot, Yusuf, for bringing that to my attention.”

Eames dropped into the nearest chair and sighed.
