was good to see everybody at the club on saturday night. actually got to hang out with a coworker with whom there was formerly so much drama out of work. much fun.
now i'm deathly ill and stuck at home. stayed home monday and tuesday, then silly me attempted to go to work today. didn't work out too well. worked half of my day and now i'm worse than i've been so far. boo for fevers/sinus infections/the most horrible throat pain known to man. the mandy is without voice.
what is everybody doin for thanksgiving? i might have to work (24 hour stores suck), but i'm hopin i can get out of it. not that makin the trek to arab to spend time with jason's extended family is high on my list of fun activities. i just want some damn food! i'd rather spend it with friends personally. besides, ed's cooking is better than jason's family anyway.
despite the fact that my store will be open on christmas, jason and i will be (kind of) pretending it doesn't exist at chateau elan. yay!! there will be much wine drinking and yummy food. hopefully a spa treatment or two if i'm lucky. :) all i'm asking for from relatives for xmas is gift certificates to the place. don't want to be stuck in the hotel room when there is so much to do (and eat and drink) there. must take advantage of the winery, that's for damn sure. that's the place that got jason and i interested in wine last summer. good times.
oo i'm wearin out. must drink me some narcotic cough syrup and get in the bed.
