Just another day...
So today I went to college dressed in my so-called Nana cosplay just cause Sam and I thought it'd be fun and we could spread our love for anime even more. Also, we had an anime club meeting on that day so it'd be fun. I took it as a dare cause, hey, it kinda is especially since I have to dress up in a skirt again plus wear heavy makeup.
My getup was slightly different than what I wore during Taylor's Anime Fest. This time I wore a white blouse that was a little more fitting than my other one, and wore a black tie instead. Together with the usual black pleated skirt (I love pleated skirts but they seem to be out of fashion... -__-), long black socks and black boots and... oh yeah, the heavy makeup, I went to college without thinking about it much cause I thought compared to what I wore, Sam would get it worse cause he's dressing up as Aizen Sousuke.
To my surprise/horror/amusement, Sam only brought the "jacket" part of the shinigami costume, and wore it over his usual shirt and jeans... so he only wore it during the anime club meeting. While there I was walking all over college dressed as, what a lot of people commented, a Japanese school girl. Not only did I get strange guys trying to talk to me, but as I walked past a group of girls, they actually stopped their conversation to actually LOOK at me. And they weren't even being discreet about it, they seriously gaped at me, eyeing me from top to toe. I actually stared back at them, first at disbelief, then amusement as I walked on. XD
Anyways, it was fun but really not something I want to do everyday. 45 minutes to get ready is not my ideal time to waste on how I look just to go to college. And vanity can only work so long on me before I either get tired of it or just plain forget. The fun part is that now our club plans to do a "Dress up like a Japanese or Anime/Manga character Day" and this time, to wear badges of our club so as not to think students of KDU have gone crazy. XD
Oh yeah, Elaine! I'm so sorry for not being able to talk to you a lot lately... I feel terrible cause everytime I see you I'm usually busy and all. -___- Really, really sorry! Just arrange anytime to have lunch with me and I'll be there, I don't mind going to college early, really! So please contact me, ok?
Erm, ok, the editor of Otaku Zone contacted me again and she's now requesting us to check out any of the latest animes coming out this fall and to give a short review. I checked the list and besides Genshiken 2 (and of course the Tsubasa OVAs but the first OVA will only come out in November) nothing else seems to really catch my eye. There are a lot of season 2 animes I see... Shakugan no Shana 2, Kiddy Grade... and I even see You're Under Arrest (might check that one out since I used to like them long ago). Might check out those shojou ones but really... can you guys see if there are any animes that are worth checking out there besides the season 2 types?
Talking about Tsubasa, this will be kinda spoilerish, so bear with me...
Chapter 167 where Kurogane talks about the people most important to him. Am I the only one who thinks he means the whole Tsubasa gang? Meaning Sakura, Syaoran and Fye... heck even Mokona! No, it is not to say I doubt that Kurogane and Fye care a lot about each other and are probably one of the best couples in Tsubasa, heck, I'm thinking of a really odd KuroFye MMV and that's already proof that I accept this pairing. But with everyone shouting, "They're canon!" and such merely based on Kurogane mentioning the people most important to him... I dunno, I don't think we should base KuroFye's relationship on that. I think there's more to it than that (and I probably am one of those who really want the whole Tsubasa gang to care about each other rather than just for their ultimate love... @__@ Hmm... maybe that's why I'm pretty ok with Fye/Sakura and Kurogane/Syaoran... XD) Oh well, seriously looking forward to know more about R!Syaoran and Watanuki!!!
Oh, talking about Fye/Sakura... This video has to be the most perfect video to describe their relationship. Though the Mother-Daughter thing is implied there (and I'm one of those who believe it's more than that) but the lyrics and the scenes just it beautifully. Highly recommended. (Gosh, I really want to work on that Fye/Sakura fic!)
Found a lot of lovely MMVs lately. Might post them up. But right now, I'll post up something else. XD
Oh yeah, Vicky sent me a song that is more of a Malaysian joke... I highly recommend to Malaysians cause it's in Malay (though the guy singing is clearly Indian) and it's kind of a political joke. I uploaded it for a bunch of people who wanted it. Let's see if you know who they're singing about...

And as though watching Rokkugoh with misheard lyrics is bad enough, my sister introduced me to this video and I had the laugh of my life. Seriously, Bollywood people are awesome in Entertainment! And if you check the comments, this video came out first before Michael Jackson's "Thriller". XD
I think I have a lot of other stuff to upload... But at the moment I can't remember. @__@ Can anyone let me know if I've forgotten anything? I've been quite forgetful lately.
