"Michael, do the right thing here - string this blind girl along so Dad doesn't have to pay his debt to society."

That's my love for Arrested Development in a GOB-shaped nutshell.

Oh, I'm loving the Tom Cruise mockage in the wake of first the Oprah thing and then the 60 Minutes thing. *wades in the shallows* Speaking of the latter, I can't have been the only one getting serious Magnolia flashbacks, surely? That (really quite long, because it's P.T. Anderson) interview scene? Eerie similarities, I tell thee. Fitting though, that the most convincing Tom Cruise has ever been was playing an ego-centric, misogynistic infomercial presenter. Yeurgh.

TV.com - huzzah! All one's TV needs in one spot. Including a delicious little trailer for The Inside, which premieres in the US on Wednesday, I believe? Tim Minear is running the show - that's all one needs to know. Though it also helps to know Jane Espenson, David Fury, Peter Coyote, Katie Finnernan and Adam 'Just As Good In A Suit As A T-Shirt' Baldwin are involved.

So I don't think/talk/gush about Hugh Jackman enough. My word, the man could not be any more awesome if he tried. I hope fear if he did try, he'd burst out of those shiny shiny gold pants he wears so very well. And I may just get to see said pants in the flesh, as he's bringing his salsa self (and The Boy From Oz) to Australia next year. *flutters* Also on the Tony front, how great that Spamalot won best musical! What with Alan Tudyk taking over the reins (or...Hank Azaria's character. Whatever. I stand by my phrase!)

Between Spamalot and the Odd Men Out Tour (Rufus and Ben Folds! And Ben Lee, even) that nagging pull in my gut urging me toward New York City is getting naggier. I can only attempt to quell the pain with Parallel Lines on the record player.
