The Duel + scene search
I swear I think I'm losing my mind. I could've sworn that there was one scene of Ray in his bedroom and looking at his gun. Then after some silent deliberation he slips the gun into the drawer and goes to bed. Except I cannot find it in any of the episodes. Did I make this scene up in my head or am I just not looking hard enough?

- Love Ray's comfort level with Maddie. You immediately get the "good friends" vibe off of them. Yet another instance of DM having chemistry with just about anyone.
- Okay, what's a 634.2? Because I've searched and I've searched and the only thing I've found is 647 = lewd conduct and 10-600 = livestock down. (Which, btw, is so much wtf.)
- Heavy giblets for the win.
- Everyone in this episode keeps making Mountie comments and insinuating that Ray can't do the job on his own. Probably so that they can highlight Ray's accomplishment, but nonetheless was getting a bit heavy handed.
- Fraser was all sorts of defensive about this episode. Love his comment to Carver about even the brightest bulbs burn out. Very reminiscent of his comment to Zuko about mistaking fear and respect.
- Love Ray doesn't just say a father but specifically uses Fraser's father to compare to Kelly. Despite Ray technically not knowing Fraser's father, Ray seems pretty determined to believe Bob Fraser is just like Benny but older.
- Poor Frannie, she tries so hard. I mean, it's so obvious she's working her butt off and Fraser is so obvious about not paying her any attention. Then again, she did try to bed him when he was all bruised up, so I guess it evens out. I still feel sorry for her though.
- Laurie was all hyped up about getting to go out for lunch/brunch? with Fraser and then Fraser starts being...well, Fraser and of course Laurie becomes all dejected. Love the delivery on "About Ray." She sounds so resigned about this sorta date turning out to be all about Ray.
- Lots of happy smirking from Fraser when Ray pulled a fast one on Carver. How much was that written in and how much was it just PG being dorktastic?
