Oh, it's cute =)
I read that Halloween usual isn't celebrated in Japan but many people masquerade in this day. That is in addition to O-bon and other cultural events. This is a little strange that three boys so treat with Mamori and Sena. But the Japanese since recently started to masquerade in Halloween... I don't know really ^^'

Well, you can look at it in two ways. Either the place where Mamori stays isn't familiar with the Halloween tradition, or it just so happens these boys that Mamori met haven't been exposed to the real Halloween tradition (which includes going to other houses for candy) and thus bullies Mamori because of their ignorance.

This is just my take on this though... I could be wrong. I do know for sure that the Japanese don't really go to other people's houses to receive candy. So far, only Japan and some Western countries do that. So I wrote this based on that possibility of ignorance. I hope that helps!
