I read that Halloween usual isn't celebrated in Japan but many people masquerade in this day. That is in addition to O-bon and other cultural events. This is a little strange that three boys so treat with Mamori and Sena. But the Japanese since recently started to masquerade in Halloween... I don't know really ^^'

This is just my take on this though... I could be wrong. I do know for sure that the Japanese don't really go to other people's houses to receive candy. So far, only Japan and some Western countries do that. So I wrote this based on that possibility of ignorance. I hope that helps!
