I apologize for how long this took! I know you were one of the few who really enjoyed this fic. I really didn't mean to abandong this fic... but I'm glad to see that it's still welcomed with open arms!

Awesome! I'm so glad you're checking out xxxHolic and Tsubasa! They're really pretty good, and I hope you continue to enjoy it. And yes, based on those two series, Hiruma obviously paid a price to get there and it'll be more apparent on what exactly that price was as the story progresses (though I think you have a good guess on what that is if you follow Tsubasa... XD You were very close with your comments too).

hmmm, i'm close huh? I bet Sakura helped the both of them cause their situation was much similar as that of hers. But is it really proper for Sakura to act like Yuko? I mean when asking for the trade. I'm wondering what could be the epic reasons to why Mamori's memory need to disappear

Well, there's a reason why Yuuko isn't in this story, and I think that as you keep reading on with xxxHolic, you'll eventually find out sooner or later. But yes, Sakura is helping mostly because she understands Hiruma's pain.

Yeah, I keep trying to write out how Hiruma looks like whenever he sees these moments where Mamori doesn't remember a lot of important things, but it's hard to put it into words. Especially since I'm writing mostly from Mamori's perspective. And yes, there's still a lot more hardship before them.

Hahahaha! I never thought about getting something like Mokona to accompany them. But I will give you this, Cerberus will be making an appearance sometime in the next few chapters. Look out for that. XD

oh, i only thought that having something like Mokona in the story would provide some sort of relief in this otherwise gloomy world. Story such as this makes it really difficult to have some laughs since its just the two of them unlike in Tsubasa where there is Kurogane and Fai to provide laughs with the latter calling the former strange names. Besides Hiruma can't be his usual evil, witty, teasing self since approaching Mamori in her current condition is proving to be quiet difficult for him. But this is what makes your story such a read, there are still many possibilities left to explore and quiet a challenge at that.

Aah, yeah... this story won't have many light hearted moments, save for when Mamori recalls something funny. Other than that, because of Mamori's situation, light moments aren't likely. But I hope you'll continue to enjoy the story all the same!
