Reaction to Sho's rumor (recycled rumor perhaps?)
So I'm pretty sure everyone has having/had a wonderful weekend, whether you celebrated Thanksgiving or not. I have had pretty good holiday and top it all off that I woke up this morning with some rumor news that I have been waiting for awhile now! =D. Rumors floating around again about Sakurai Sho and Mori Izumi were out on a date based on an anon fan blog! *triumph fist pump*
Well even though I have to say as a late developer as an Arashi fan, this is the first time I have ever seen these two paired up (that is until I googled them together for the first time this morning after seeing the rumor news flourish through tumblr and FB); but after watching them on HnA (again I watched this episode late so cut a struggling college student some slack) they do seem compatible :).
In the midst of reading the news about the rumor, of course I encountered a lot of hate talk going from fans of all kinds (Sho X Arashi member, Sho x other female celeb, Sho x Sho obsessed fan) and gotta say this bluntly: get over your woes you crazy hags!. I have no idea if some fans are jokingly mad or just really really native, but seriously chill out. Again we don't know for sure if this rumor is true since it was a fan report and we all know like the media, they tend to exaggerate a little too much. Also we all know about Sho becoming the MC this New Years event so possibly another one of those rumor promotion pranks?. And I have to say in a humorous way that the fan who made this rumor has made the media's work cut out for them! Haha really media, maybe you can think of this rumor as a time to take a vacation, go to Hawaii and sip on some piña coladas =P.
But anyway back to my anti crazy fangirl rant. I have to admit I thought this kind of rumor news would make me sad since Sho is my ultimate favorite and heck I even daydream of an alternative universe of him as my lover; but I am actually really excited and happy for him if the rumor is indeed true! <3. I dunno if it isn't hit me yet or what but I went on my day without any sadness (well except for RL stuff and how they both are in the position I want to be in aka successfully finished with college and doing what they love *no pun intended you crazy fangirls* while I was venturing out to go to the library to study) =P. but yeah that's right a fangirl who loves Sho a lot is pretty happy for Keio Boy because of the possibility that he show signs of being interested in someone (not to mention a person he has known most of this life).
So it really bugs me when fans go all depressed and are like boycotting any Arashi members or any celeb for that matter when there are rumors or it is legit that they are dating someone. Also I admit I have gone down that road where I felt depressed over my celeb dating other people long ago and really it is not worth crying over because
1) it's useless for one to wish that if they love a celeb that much, they will magically come in her life one day and marry them
2) it is incredibly selfish of someone to seriously wish a celeb (who is happy with the person they chose to spend their intimate time with) that they'd dump the girl who the crazy obsessed fangirls call names like "skank", "bitch", " attention whore", even "ugly"...like that would make stuff better *roll eyes*.
Those who do that technically without knowing the relationship with their celeb crush and their significant other are just in reality disrespecting their idols as well by calling the person they deeply care for horrible names. Question: In a different perspective, what if you were the lover of your celeb crush and crazy fangirls gave you the same treatment? Moreover, telling you two to break up or they threaten to take serious measures to make it happen? Keep in mind that in Asian celeb life is a little more easier meddle in despite the drastic measures agencies take to protect idols and those close to them.
As fans, shouldn't we be happy for who our idols want to be with in their love lives? These are the same idols that give us happiness and guidance and for fans to be so greedy by saying they should not have happiness? (And I highly doubt us being their happiness in a romantic way is very unlikely since we do not know them personally and vise versa).
And come on Mori Izumi is not that bad at all if Sho chooses her in the end. Let's run a checklist here (some aren't even serious but more of fluffy cuteness that could be a reality):
1) Izumi has been friends with Sho since they were kids. Sho did admit he'd like to be friends with someone before getting into a relationship. Give or take there is a possibility they probably are instead like brother and sister to each other...but I'm open to whatever
2) She's from Italian descent (Sho gets to have to have legit pasta dishes made every night!!! Big win for him!)
3) No doubt their families are associated in some way seeing as Sho, Izumi, and their siblings are childhood friends and of course them being the elite rich kids
4) And seeing how Izumi has known Sho most of her life, she is more than aware of Sho's monstrous temper...so she knows what ticks him off and how to avoid and possibly comfort him and Sho knows better than to lose his temper on an old friend...
5) in love or not, you can clearly tell Sho really cares for her...to see him that happy and content (even if the reason is her) makes me satisfied that he can show that much happiness...we all love when he does that big vibrant smile right?
6) She has a very perky, vibrant, and versatile personality. We all can't forget that personality is the number one asset that makes a person beautiful to others in comparison to looks (you've all watched good virtue movies like Howl's Moving Castle right? Same concept people but seriously Izumi is gorgeous, might not be in the way we all think is beautiful but clearly Sho sees something in her that is so special to him that we cannot see...and I really think when one thinks this of their significant other, it think it makes it a really beautiful relationship)
Now finally those crazy fangirls who are mad that Sho didn't make their fave OTP happen and those who want to get out of the fandom once they idols are married, again selfish!
Don't get me wrong as you can see from my LJ I love conjuring up daydreams of Yama or Sakuraiba, but in reality if the rumor is true and Sho doesn't chose a favorite band member...*shrugs* again gotta accept it 'cause it is Sho's choice and he does what he sees that will make him happy! And if there had been a little boyxboy love that happened and now is gone, I think it's more than likely Sho and that person have set aside grudges and wish the best for each other.
And this talk about leaving the fandom when their idol gets married, wow just wow! You people can make a list on why you love Arashi and one of the reasons being how they are your inspiration and that you love their music...only to drop them once your favorite is married off to someone that isn't your OTP...how hypocritical...but really they don't know what they are missing if one day in the distant future a rare glimpse of their children or even their kids joining Johnny's by possibility
...really people who are acting like sore losers who act like they're gonna die because of the possibility their idols have found love that isn't you, their OTP, or their favorite celeb female...get a grip on yourselves and grow up and be happy for what their idols for their accomplishments even including them falling in love
