The College Experience Blog #4: New Lifetime Goal!

So it's that time again where I decided to blog.  I just came back from our weekly Mon/Wed/Fri church service. Somehow the guest speaker today really touched my heart and really made me consider doing something else with my life after college is done and over with.  I am sincerely considering doing missionary trips for the Catholic church any place around the world.  I seriously plan on doing these frequently for the rest of my life.  I am hoping my future husband (who shares my religion or not) would be willing to do this dream with me to help the world.  As I have been mentioned many times before, I am an only child however I never consider myself spoiled and is always willing to give and help those who are not as fortunate as I was growing up.  I am willing to become a traveling educator to help teach children who were not given a chance to an education.  It seems sappy but seriously I feel that doing this would help remind me that I do have a bigger purpose in life than merely being a small town educator and having my dream family with the one that I choose to give my heart to.  Since I found a Catholic church near my college and was able to make a few friends on my first visit (including the priest), I will try to look into how I can work into these missionaries after I graduate.

In other news in college, I misread schedule last weekend, it's this weekend when we have our orientation for prospective students!  Seeing how my roommate is going to be gone for the weekend, me and a few of my friends who I had a small gathering with yesterday on Valentine's Day decided we should do like an "Asian" party in the room complete with us watching drama shows on DramaCrazy and on my HD and Chinese take out!  Hehe oo this is going be good!  XDDD
