The Philadelphia Story

A deliciously funny story about a socialite torn between 3 men on the eve of her wedding day.

Katharine Hepburn was brilliant as the 'goddess' Tracy Lord, flitting around like she owned everything and everyone. She had a certain air about her that not all actresses can accomplish and carried every scene perfectly. As a big fan of Cary Grant, I was slightly disappointed that he did not seem to get enough screen time with Hepburn. However, their scenes together were great - filled with humorous, vicious banter. James Stewart also did a credible job although I found his character a little annoying at times - however, he was very amusing when drunk!
