Summary: Dr Jensen Ackles is a lonely widower and workaholic who has little sympathy for the homeless. So when Jared, the young homeless kid who broke into his house last night, shows up in the ER, sick and critically injured, will the good doctor bring his work home with him?
A great little fic about Doctor Jensen learning to overcome his displeasure of the homeless and loving an abused and broken Jared.
It has a lot of angst, yet it's very lighthearted and endearing in some parts. She definitely shy away from hardcore stuff. She keeps everything realistic, especially the emotions and medical things.
Best of all it has a lot of great characters like Chris and Steve, and Jensen as a doctor grieving over his late husband, and Jared, so young and vulnerable just wanting to be loved by someone.
