Tonight I went trick-or-treating for the first time in forever. I also wore a costume, for the first time in infiniti(or...just a long time.). I picked up David around 6 and we went to my uncle's house for about an hour, to say hi and to eat. Everybody was staring at me and telling me that I looked 'beautiful'. Then my grandmother freaked out over my lip-piercing. It was quite a funny moment. After that I went with David, Amanda, and Rebekah. We went trick-or-treating in Rebekah's neighborhood. I swear, there were no trick-or-treaters anywhere!!--but that didn't stop us! Another thing--people are so stingy with their candy. Only 2 per person?!? I mean, when you have 15 people in an entire night stop by your doorstep, you have got to be more giving! It seems that every time we left someones house, we would talk shit about them in their driveway, or on their doorstep after the closed the door. It was a night filled with laughter.
This one guy, tried guessing our costumes. To Rebekah, who was marilyn monroe he said....'you must be marilyn monroe' and to amanda, who was dressed like a geek he said 'you must be Brittany Spears. It was comedy.
One lady, gave us candy to pick from. We each grabbed one or two. David grabbed two. She yells, "ONLY TWO!!!" He drops one, and shows her he only has one. Then he picked up another one. She had an asian accent, those were the only words we think she knew.
For about 5 minutes, we talk to some robot-y scarecrow machine in some house with no host. It was funny, he asked for our trick, and when we told him we didn't have one it told us "no candy" so then we were about to preform. Then, in this house covered with decorations, an 80-year old woman comes out, with a witch costume on. She walked really slow, and you could barely understand her crippled voice. She then continued to talk to us, for a while.
After that, we were hoping to be able to watch Texas Chainsaw Massacre with my family, but they ended up going to Palm Promanade theatre in Imperial Beach, so we wouldn't make it on time. So instead, we went to Blockbuster and rented. We wanted to rent a scary movie, and there were barely any in stock. We rented Friday the 13th and Ripper. We sat inside of Rebekah's RV to watch the movie. It was fun, we wrapped ourselves in blankets and laughed about David's lacked ability to put down the table and thin blankets. We got to the part in the movie(Friday the 13th) where Jason's mom comes, then my family pulled up in the van. That movie, was really really funny. It gave off a low-budget film aura. One of these days, we are going to make a low-budget scary film. We will make funny faces and the lighting will always be off. When it rains, you will see that it is fake. Because it will fall in buckets over cars, and only the cars. Then we will film outside of a diner, where there is no action, for about 3 minutes. Low-budget films from the 70's. Woot.
I hope that they have a Halloween make-up for escuela. I want to wear my costume to school. It would be interesting the feed-back I would get.
Tonight, David told me that I looked really hot and that I should wear clothes like I did tonight every day. I told him, if I did my Dad would kill me. But that is how I have wanted to dress since I was 7 years old. I just---didn't want to die. Everyone told me I could pull it off. I know. ::pops colla::
My sister hates my lip piercing, I love it because it pisses her off!!
Tommorow morning I am going to help kids build craft at the Old Globe. Woot.
