So I'm going to study in the UK next month,as part of the preparation I researched whether I could get one of my essentials there. And guess what? Rosken is not sold there! GAH. Why?! Are they discriminating against Australian products? It's not fair! My skin is going to suffer without Rosken Skin Repair. It will peel, rot and I will turn into an alligator overnight.
That's right, an alligator. A reptile. UGH.
I was born with dry skin, and when I was young I absolutely hated having cream on my skin. My mum would make me put Rosken on because it's effective against dry skin and I HATED it. It was sticky, and I didn't quite like the smell. I just felt very uncomfortable having it on. So for a while my maid would put it on for me (I'm such a princess), and sometimes I won't bother and cringed as I watched my skin turned scaly and ugly.
Then I don't know when, I made up my mind to overcome the stickiness and discomfort by applying the cream every time after a shower (it is when it's most effective). Miraculously, my skin turned smooth. I loved it... my skin finally felt normal to me and after that, it was part of my everyday routine to apply the cream after a shower. As a result, I would use tubs and tubs of the cream. It is not cheap for me, but it's an essential, and I had to sacrifice the money for it. I found out a 250ml Skin Repair can last barely a month for me.
Anyway, I am just devastated that Rosken is not sold in UK. Some of its other products are sold but not the dry skin cream. !!!
This meant I'm going have to bring multiple tubs of it there. As well as my moisturiser from The Face Shop. Why aren't both of my favourite skin care products in the world sold in UK? It's understandable that Hada Labo (a moisturising lotion that is surprisingly good) won't be sold there -- it's Japanese and was originally only sold in Japan before it made its appearance in Malaysia's Guardian (a pharmacy/drugstore) but for TFS and Rosken as well? That sucks. This just goes on my list of why UK sucks. (I'm not against UK, I have a list of why UK rocks as well) xD
