I Hate Cars.
Miss Jetta Is Sick.
Her braking computer module short-circuited or something which is quite rare according to Joel, my friendly service man. I was sitting in park in a parking lot waiting on my family so we could proceed to Kentucky on our trip and three lights come on and beep at me. Now, you know it can't be good. Of course, my heart rate goes up and I immediately reach for my manual. And low and behold in big bold letters stating if those three lights come on you should contact service immediately..I do just that.
They determine the above problem an hour or so later and can't even order the part 'til Monday. Which will have to be built & encoded wtih my VIN and will probably be in Wednesday at the earliest.....In car talk - That's like Friday or Saturday.
So, needless to say, I'm quite bummed out and miss my Jetta dearly. She & I haven't been apart since March and I didn't expect it to happen this quickly. Tomorrow will be fine for work but Monday will be a mess. Contemplating calling in sick M-W as I'm off Th&F.
