Fourth Of July Festivities...

Attended the party of - My ex-best friend's Mother's friend's Mother's Party. Get that? That six-degrees thing is SO true.

They live in Portland which is approximately 40 minutes from my house - Yet still in the same county. We arrived around 11:30 and there were roughly 30 people there.

We had Jenni's baby and so all I heard all day were girls going NUTS over the poor thing. I swear 20 different women held him and wished they had one and this that and the other! I wanted to scream by the evening.

Had lunch and watched the silly kids play around in the pool. I know these people by name and some of their background but I don't really know them except Kerry who always tries to get me drunk. All I had was a Green-Apple Jello Shooter and some wine cooler thing - Both brought to me by Kerry. It had no effect on me and it's not as enjoyable as most people act like it is.

Around 6 o'clock the party started to grow. Sure people trickled in all day long but before anyone knew it - There were probably 100 people there. People running in and out of the house, getting food, playing in the pool, dancing to music - pure chaos. So Debbie and I had to leave around 8 because we were both worn-out, had to get the baby to bed, and Debbie had to work the next day.

So home we went and talked of Jenni and other things.

When we got to her house it was like World War 3. I thought the bombs were gonna drop right on us from all the fireworks people were setting off. It was just constant booms, pops, and other noises! Damn kids.

So I helped her with the baby (No, I don't want one) and got myself home and into bed. Today I have a haircut at 1:45 and must do school work due tonight. Tomorrow I work ::gag:: but c'est la vie.

Hope you all had a good 4th.
