Beach Trip
I took my two little sisters to the beach ( one is 18 and the other is 17) I took them as a graduation present to the oldest, all expenses paid. The day, of the trip, didn't start out so well, the one the trip was for started complaining before we ever left the house! I told her I was just going to leave her home and take her sister with me and then she changed her tune, at least for a little while. Then I went to pick up my check on the way out of town and backed into my boss' car! :( I was scared, but she was nice about it and there wasn't any major damage done, so finally we get on the road. We arrive at the KOA around dark, but fortunately we didn't have to set up a tent because I rented a little camper cabin with air conditioning and real beds! I learned from camping in a tent last year that it is too hot and too much hassle to camp in a tent at the beach!
I love the beach I, generally, feel at peace and relaxed when I'm there, but not this time! My oldest, little sister complained almost non stop while we were there! Mind you this is an all expense paid trip for her and she complained about the cabin, the food, the show we went to, on and on...
I cut the trip short partly because it rained almost everyday we were there, so we only got to go to the beach a couple of times while we were there. I was running low on money, so we couldn't do much, thus more complaining. I was also homesick, so were the girls, and I had about all I could take of being cramped up in a little 1 room cabin with someone who was constantly complaining!
I took the girls to their grandmother's house the next day and dropped them off and then I had the house to myself for 4 whole days! Yay!:) I spent that time recovering from my trip and reading. It was nice! Much better than the actual beach trip.
