So this is the first draft of the opening scene for This Is A Movie. I was hoping to get some feedback from you's guys. I was hoping to throw in a song in there somewhere written and performed by us. Trey Parker and Matt Stone style, baby.

Fade in.
FADE IN-ESTABLISHING SHOT OF CITY
Shots of a city. We see our protagonist, BILLY, walking dramtically through different areas such as an empty parking lot, a subway tunnel and a crowded basketball court in the middle of a pickup game. These shots are shown during the following dialogue.
BILLY
(V.O)
This is my home. After dropping out of school for two years to 'find myself' I find myself back in this city. This generic Canadian city dressed up to look like New York so that our distributors can get a tax break.
When 'New York' is mentioned a shot of the CN Tower is shown along with a guy with a bad Brooklyn accent selling newspapers.
BILLY
(V.O.)
I'm wearing a black leather jacket which suggests that I'm a bad boy from the wrong side of the tracks. My slicked back hair gives me a sleek yet slightly dangerous look. My name is Billy and you're supposed to like me.
BILLY snaps out of his intense walking mode. A wide shot of BILLY in the middle of a field. He looks around.
BILLY
(beat)
I'm clearly lost.
Let the nitpicking begin.
