Oh look!
Another year has passed. Imagine that.
OK, I am still studying part-time; a Master of Technolgy at the University of Canberra. I have already completed my Diploma of Website Development from the Canberra Institute of Technology. I've been a busy little student. Also, insane. :grin:
The really big news is that I have a new job, a permanent APS 5 in FaCSIA. And it's a great place to work. So much different from the ATO.
So now my life has settled back into an old routine and it's almost like those years studying never happened. It's extremely weird but I guess habit not only dies hard but it also carves deep grooves in your psyche.
Also, I almost can't believe that I forgot to say last time but I guess she hadn't been part of my world view for very long. I have a niece. The Kendall family has finally reproduced. Alice Louise McCarthy is now a little over 2 years old and she really is cute as a button.
So, now my family has expanded and the future looks both old and new. I don't know what the future will bring but I do know that leaving the ATO was the best thing I could have done.
It just goes to show that what looks like a catastrophe can actually turn out to be a blessing.
