It's been a while
Fiorentina's season ended in a wholly mediocre fashion, Santana is not having his contract renewed, and Monty decided not to extend his contract. I came to accept him leaving, however I'm worried about another thing. His contracts technically expires in 2012 and he may play with us for another season before leaving for another club (PLEASE DO NOT GO TO GERMANY, INTER IS FINE, JUST NOT GERMANY). There's been rumbling froms fan that if he does stay they would bench him for part of the season as an example.
*facepalm* That seems so spiteful and petty on so many levels, and I would be pretty pissed off at the management if they did this. I don't expect them to do that, since it's also a waste of funds, and it's just second hand rumors right now. I'm just utterly disgusted at the idea. Just sell him and use the money to replace him. Blah~
