I got a call from my manager yesterday. He told me that he was going to train me for a few days, then put me into a use-as-needed serving position. I was freaking stoked. I guess i won't get any real shifts yet because i have to prove myself to my skeptical general manager. Once i do though, i'll have the position that i've been waiting for for 2 years now. Booyah.
Majid got a producer to talk to the Jack's Wasted Life crew the other day. This guy has produced Afi, Alkaline Trio, Blink, and some other big names. He told us that he was really into our demo cd, and wants to sit in on some shows and practices. If all goes well, we will be recording in his personal studio in Hollywood and booking some bigger shows down south. Dude, the possiblity of making money while doing the thing that i love is really exciting.
The inn hasn't given me a call yet. Joey let me know that they really don't have any shifts for me. Sucky, yet why would i care when i may be serving at AJ's?
