Chapter 38:
“How was the dinner just now, Kazu?” Jin asked his boyfriend sweetly whilst swaying their intertwined hands back and forth as they walked towards Jin’s apartment idly in satisfaction after stepping out from the elevator. They didn’t even care whether did they looked childish to outsiders or not. Now right at this moment, it’s only them. Just the two of them, Jin and Kazuya. Not Mr. Akanishi and Mr. Kamenashi.
“Well, the foo-”
“JIN! KAME-CHAN!”
“Huh?” Jin and Kazuya looked towards the direction where they heard their names being called.
“Yamapi? KEITA?” Jin shouted in surprise. “What are you two doing here at this time!?” Jin still did not let go of Kazuya’s hand though Kazuya did tugged at their entwined hands a few times. Jin pulled Kazuya along as they walked on towards his apartment.
“Well, we are waiting for the both of you, doesn’t it seemed like it?” Keita asked in amusement as he caught sight of Jin and Kazuya’s entwined hands.
“But how come you did not go over to Kazu’s house instead?” Jin asked. He was totally unaware that Yamapi and Keita had been staring at their hands in bright, glittery eyes like waiting for enlightenment on what’s going on.
“Hmm… Pi said there’s a high possibility that you two will come back to your house instead of Kazu’s house tonight according to his discrete observation for the routine so I think that explained why we are here now...” Keita offered his explanation. “And…”
“And?” Kazuya repeated after Keita. “What?”
“And don’t you think that you owed us a wonderful explanation?” Keita asked with a forefinger pointing at Jin and Kazuya’s connected hands.
“Hmm?” Jin looked down innocently. “Oh…” He smiled in acknowledgement and tugged at Kazuya’s hand slightly. “Yeah, we do.”

“EH!? REALLY!?” Yamapi and Keita shouted at the top of their lungs in unison.
“Shh! Keep your volume down! It’s nearly midnight!” Kazuya hushed his two childhood friends without any further delay.
“BUT! It’s really something that we should pop the champagne for!” Yamapi cheered. “I mean you know… it’s been after… so long that your thick skull and frozen heart finally opened up and accepted Jin!”
Jin chuckled at Yamapi’s outburst and looked at his boyfriend accusingly with a ‘that’s right’ face.
“Well, I apologized for that. But… it’s been really… I don’t know how I should put it. Just… I don’t have the guts to confess to him or asked him about his feelings at that time.”
“But didn’t I tell you before that you got to follow your heart and do what your heart says? They will never lie.” Keita cooed.
“Yes, I know… but it’s the courage that I am lacking of all along…” Kazuya bowed his head low in shame.
“Kazu… it’s alright. I felt the same like you too.” Jin pulled Kazuya to sit on his laps and combed his lover’s silky hair ethereally with his fingers. “And… I did take a long time before I could gather adequate courage to confess to you too…”
“Jin…” Kazuya slipped his arms behind Jin’s neck.
“But, I will never regret it.” Jin stated firmly.
“Jin…” Kazuya got sweetened up and leaned in to place a chaste kiss on Jin’s lips. And now, they were so open with their ministrations when they were still acting so shy just a few moments ago before telling their friends.
“Aww… don’t kill our innocence here now, can you? Please spare us.” Keita and Yamapi faked out their disgusted reactions.
“Well, you can always shut your eyes…” Jin smiled and pecked on Kazuya’s lips one more time, totally ignoring the two self-claimed innocent people.
“Okay… now, just what is your motive for coming here tonight?” Jin questioned after he had finished rubbing Kazuya’s nose with his in an affectionate way playfully.
“Hey, we do not have any motive! Just… wanted to meet up and have a dinner together, that’s all… but who knows the two of you actually had dinner already…” Keita grumbled and rolled his eyes.
“Well… we stayed back in the company and worked overtime too, Pi should know it since he is my assistant.” Kazuya cooed.
“Well… I forgot about it…” Yamapi admitted penitently.
“PI!” Keita grumbled vilely again before he gave out a sigh in defeat. “Forget it.”
“So…?” Jin asked dubiously. “What now?”
“Well… I have got another thing to announce.” Keita reached into his branded leather duffel bag and pulled out a few tickets. He handed them a ticket each.
“What is this?” Yamapi asked.
Keita beamed and then grinned in a wide way. “These are the VIP seats in my upcoming premium solo concert. I hope you guys will be able to attend.” And he waited for their big reactions patiently.
One second ticked by.
Two seconds ticked by.
Three seconds ticked by…
“KEITA!!!!!” Kazuya jumped off from Jin’s lap and latched himself at Keita who stood up from his seat the moment he heard Kazuya’s calling. He knew this reaction of the smaller man very well. They bounced and fell back onto the couch together in a slanted way.
“YOU ARE COOL! YOU MANAGED TO HAVE A SOLO CONCERT!?” Kazuya threw his question at Keita eagerly.
“Yeah… I managed to convince Matsuyama-san and the management to let me try out my solo career, as Tachibana Keita alone and not the Keita from w-inds., and see what’s the public’s reaction will be like.” Keita elaborated. “Hmm, a single and an album will be released soon after the concert though. Most probably this concert will be filmed and recorded so as to release an additional video collection soon after if everything goes well as planned.”
“YAY! GREAT!” Jin cheered along but immediately interrupted his own merriness. “AH wait! Then what about w-inds.?”
“Oh... we are definitely not disbanding if that’s what you are worried about, Jin.” Keita smiled and walked over to pull Jin into a tight hug. “Thank you…”
“Woohoo! That’s really needed to call for a celebration now! Double celebrations!” Yamapi shouted in jolliness.
“YAY!” They all shouted together.
“Let’s party all night!” Jin shouted enthusiastically.
“YAY!!!” Kazuya agreed.
“Oh wait, Kei, don’t you need to go for work tomorrow? It’s alright for us since it’s a Saturday… but your work…” Yamapi asked.
“Oh that. Well I got a day off from the company so it’s definitely a no-problem for me too.” Keita smiled mischievously. He too, had anticipated for this time.
“Oh right! Party! Party!” Jin chanted happily like a kid being granted to buy his favorite toy.

“Ahh… my head hurts…” Jin complained infuriatingly as he woke up when he felt the warmth from the sun that hit his face cruelly. “Hmm?”
He looked around the messy living room and saw the other three were still sleeping soundly. He pulled his gaze back to the form of his sleeping lover beside him and bent down to place a morning kiss on his forehead lightly.
That kiss managed to make Kazuya stirred a bit and fluttered his sleepy eyes open. “Good morning, Jin.” Kazuya greeted hoarsely.
“Morning to you too, love.” Jin returned his greeting. “How are you feeling?”
Kazuya sat up from the floor and looked around the room that was full of red wine bottles and champagnes. He stretched his stiff back and groaned grumpily. “Like shit.”
Jin chuckled at that and pulled Kazuya into his embrace. “I will make you feel better.” He leaned down and placed another kiss on Kazuya’s pouty, dry lips. “There. Feel better?”
Kazuya flushed in embarrassment and nodded his head coyly, flashing a stupid smile. “Hmm.”
“We are still around, in case you missed us, Bakanishi.” A rough voice was heard which caused Jin to snort grouchily.
“Pi, morning to you too.” Kazuya greeted politely.
“Morning, Kame-chan.” Yamapi answered him nicely before nudging Keita’s sleeping form beside him a few times. “Wake up, Kei. It’s morning already.”
A few incoherent mumblings were heard before Keita finally opened his eyes and sat up. “We slept in the early morning too.”
“Yeah… too bad for you, we should get ready and leave shortly.” Yamapi advised.
“Why?” Keita groaned unhappily.
“Haven’t you been a light bulb for long enough?”
“….” Nothing came out from Keita until a few moments passed by. “Ohh… Yeah.”
“It’s okay... No hurry.” Jin said before turning to Kazuya. “Ne, shall we make a trip down to Tat-chan’s to buy food for Ran-chan and Chocolate later?”
Kazuya considered a while and nodded his head twice slowly. “Okay.” He brought his hand up and rubbed on his eyes cutely. Jin nearly pounced on that adorable Kazu of his right there and then.
“You guys want to join us?” Jin asked, trying to divert his own attention.
“Can we?”
“Of course!”

“Welcome!” Junno greeted energetically. “Ah! Kame-chan! Jin! Pi!”
“Yo!” Jin raised his hand in greeting. “Where are the others?” Keita and Yamapi trailed behind him.
“Ah… Maru is behind one of those shelves while Koki and Tat-chan are inside, bathing the puppies.”
“Oh…” Jin nodded in acknowledgement.
“Getting anything?” Junno asked again.
“Yes… we are-”
“Welcome!” Nakamaru’s loud, perceptible voice was heard from one of the shelves. Apparently, he was greeting Keita who was browsing around the aisle in the shop.
“Ah… Hello…” Keita greeted back pleasantly.
“You looked familiar…” Nakamaru frowned, pulling his eyebrows together.
“Maru! He is together with Kame-chan and Jin!” Junno yelled loudly.
“OH!” Shuffling was heard and in no time, Nakamaru appeared beside the counter. “Welcome!”
“How are you doing?” Nakamaru asked convivially.
“Yeah, fine. We brought our friend along too. We will go grab the food we want and get back to you later.” Jin responded.
After about half an hour, the four of them brought four baskets of pet food back to the counter and placed them on top of the table counter. At this time, Koki and Ueda returned from the inner part of the room too.
“Oh, Kame-chan! Jin!” Koki called out loudly.
“Koki!” Kazuya responded.
“How are the two of you? It’s been really some time since you came…” Ueda said.
“Yes… well… we were kind of busy but still, decided to drop by today and get some food for Ran-chan and Chocolate. Their supplies are running out quite fast.” Jin answered.
“How are you guys?” Kazuya asked.
“Yeah, we are fine, as always.” The four of them grinned.
“Oh, by the way we brought two friends with us today.” Jin directed them to Yamapi and Keita. “This is Pi, you guys know him already.” The four of them nodded and smiled. “And this is… Keita. Tachibana Keita.” Jin introduced.
“EH!?” the four of them exclaimed in alarm.
