I thought I had to show interest in a sorority to get asked to join it!
So last night our Orientation Counselor who is wicked cool and really nice asked us to go to this like dinner /party sort of gathering her sorority was having. So Abbie, Jaquie, Jenny, Michelle, and I went to be nice. They were nice and we got introduced to a bunch of people and Helen showed us her room and then after like a half an hour we left. Well today Abbie, Jaquie and Michelle and some other people went to the waterfront and Jenny went somewhere else and I decided to be lazy because thats what I do on Saturday mornings and after Shannon's show came on I was just watching random tv because I couldn't decide what to do. And someone knocked on the door and I assumed it was just someone else from the hall wondering if I wanted to do anything, and so I told them to come in and in walks three people from Zeta or whatever its called and they were like hi everyone really liked you guys last night so we are offering you bids to join Zeta psi whatever the third letter is. And they gave me my card and Michelle's card and then they were like explaining about bids and stuff and then they left and I was like ok.. that was odd. So now we all have bids to join a sorority that none of us really liked that much and we have to find someway to say no thanks without hurting their feelings.
