Ahhh, that's it, Reid. Not all the computing in the world can tell you everything. For some things you need the empirical evidence. In other words: you don't know what Luke's lips on yours will do to you until you kiss him.
You always get me. ♥

And it means so much that you can relate at all to what Reid is going through. Because try as I might, there's nothing bi about me. :)

The gay porn scene that wouldn't stop. Geez, you're really determined not to censor yourself here, aren't you?
Oh, you have no idea the pressure to censor myself. Especially when I know a chapter would be much more beloved (and, in this case, more balanced) were I not to include certain things. Fortunately, I didn't have such dilemmas writing First Love -- there was only that one truly risky moment near the end. But Outlier is, of course, more controversial on multiple levels, and it has been a constant struggle not to water down the original conception. If I were trying to make this more marketable or literary there would no doubt be some changes. But that's the beauty of ff…I can just put it all out there. :) And it does help knowing that once this story really gets started(!), there should be near-universal happiness…

I can think of only a couple of things that you DIDN'T cover in Reid's Internet research, and I'm SO grateful that you didn't.
There are some lines that even I won't cross. ;)
