Nah, cherie, I don't want to take it back. But to be true I am a little worried about this kiss. Reid's not a closet case here, is he? Hm.RL kept me from commenting, not your chapter's cliffhanger, bb! Okay, I especially loved this:
"but it felt almost as if Luke's deathless bond with Noah were draining him, like an incubus - as if his actions on Noah’s behalf weren’t always in keeping with his true self." This must be the best description of that sick relationship I every read! Noah the incubus! :D made me giggle hysterically.
And I totally love the tone of analytical / scientific Reid in this chapter. Very interesting perspective. Can't wait to read more! :)
