Back to normal for a couple of days

Absolutely have to finish the final draft of my final project proposal this morning, so that the prof can edit it and get it back to me to submit by next Friday!  Have had a major procrastination issue with this because of problems putting down how I perceive my goal.  I am just going to write it fresh withouth trying to re-word what I have and go from there!

Joined www.crystalvision.com last night, an offer I got through Broderbund -- they offer software, games, DVDs and CDs, and computer supplies (including ink cartridges thru Better Inks) at a deep discount.  This morning I ordered a bunch of free "learning" software (Access, Outlook, Languages -- I know a lot of this stuff, but I think you can always know more, and hey, it's free) as well as a few DVDs, including one set called 50 Classic SF Movies which was $15.83 and the Dinotopia series for
wesleyjenn.  There is a one-time fee but they let you use it for 30 days at a discount.

For you UFO buffs out there, France has opened 50 years of files to the public: http://news.yahoo.com/s/afp/20070322/ts_afp/sciencespaceufo_070322143210
Interesting story.  If you want to go directly to the French site it's www.cnes-geipan.fr

Jim brought back from Nuremburg some gingerbread cookies, packed in an ornate tin box in the shape of a treasure chest with illustrations of the old town on it, and it is also a music box that plays a Christmas song, which for the life of me I can't think of the name or even the first verse -- it's the one that about the third verse starts, "Shepherds, why this jubilee?" and the chorus is "Glo-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-ria In Excelsis De-e-o."  The guy who was seeing there gave it to him -- Jim was interested in the cookies, but I love the box!  You gotta love a country that would take the trouble to package something in such a fashion. (The song might actually be called Gloria In Excelsis Deo.  But I think it has another title.)

Dinner last night was baked ziti, with the 2001 Rocca dei Mori Salice Salentino, which is fruiter than the Taurino, and I think I like it better for certain things, although not necessarily the ziti.  It would be a good "deck wine" as they say here.

wine food, ufo, shopping, mals, dystopia
