a lazy weekend <3
These days, weekends have never felt so precious before. When you're stuck in a fish tank cos of Rag from morning to morning to morning again, all the weekdays, the first thing you wanna do when the weekend beckons, is to see the people you haven't seen all week. Family, friends, boyfriend.
And the second thing you wanna do, is to just nua in bed, Macbook on lap, and just lazy surfing the night away. Which is exactly what I did this Sunday night - literally sitting on my bed for 4 hours and surfing the Internet, catching up on the latest news and activities around the world and my world, listening to good black music and some chill pill jazz, and doing some cathartic writing. This is usually how I spend my weekends, until Rag took over my life the past month. But short of lamenting again, I feel even more appreciative and grateful for the quiet time that I have. Like I was telling Kwek, nua-ing in bed is really magical. (And my sloth of a boyfriend obviously agreed so -.-)
And the lazy weekend wouldn't have been complete without the 2 of us taking the time (and money, haha) off to run away from stressful, energy-sapping Rag and frustrating, boring internship - and yet still staying here in good ol' Singapore. Staycations are the new vacations man! Okay, that only applies when you are 1) broke, 2) have no time, 3) lazy to plan, like us. We literally slept and lazed around in the bed and our cool bill studio loft - even dragging our asses out to get dinner took hours and was the most laborious task of the entire time. And a late-nighter that was "Inception" must have been The BEST movie we have ever caught together.

Alright, time to sleep. And Wk 3 of Rag beckons. We're halfway there, my dears!
