A block love!
I know just one week ago, I was still complaining about hall and I totally would rather be at home. I was homesick, indignant about the fact that I am in KR, that I have to live there, and stubborn about being loyal to Bizad first, KR second. Today, my loyalty still lies primarily with Bizad (I mean I want to run for the club?), but you know what? I LOVE STAYING IN KR. I LOVE A-BLOCK. I love how it really feels like another family. I thank the heavens every night for blessing me with such wonderful accepting and friendly neighbours, for giving me a room in the short wing (cos this way the 4 of us are really MUCH more bonded than the long wing people), and for giving A Block a Block Head that is so unassuming and makes it his personal mission to make EVERY single one of us feel welcomed. Phantom Yi-Lin is what he called me, and I did feel bad for MIA-ing on him and the rest, but today he's still so chummy with me! A Block people are love seriously, especially the neighbours! :)
I adore my neighbours like everything. We leave our doors open every night and as long as we are in, our doors are open. It really makes the loneliness and stress when mugging decrease exponentially! Audrey likes to pop by, together with Du Qian from faaaaar away for my endless supply of food; Vera likes to make weird noises and randomly pops in to say something lame; Pei Wen likes to supply us with food randomly! And we'll help to wake each other up and jio each other down for meals together. And the best thing is that the 4 of us just don't like sleeping early. We do our own stuff, but yet we give each other alot of privacy and personal space, despite the fact that our doors are wide open and we are totally exposed. LOVE this feeling!
When i wanted to stay in hall, this was what I was looking for. It did take me a while - probably a very long while at that - but I'm finally here! I love hall, and I'm home now but I feel so disoriented and lost, cos my heart and mind's with my room and our cosy short wing ): BUT IT IS OKAY. I will be back tomorrow yay! :)
